It is the only aeronautical student association at the Politecnico di Milano. Its aim is to design, build and fly fixed-wing drones in order to participate in international competitions.
The association was founded in 2022. Today it has about 60 members coming from all the faculties of the Politecnico di Milano.
The team has two prototypes to its credit: Aethra, its first project and Nyx, the ACC2024 drone.

In addition to participating in competitions, FlyMi aims to serve as an educational bridge between university and professional world.
To create a stimulating environment that provides hands-on learning and professional development opportunities for its members, FlyMi fosters partnerships with companies in the industry.
